I want to portray Life - I want to capture warm moments that remind others of what "home" means to them
For 10 years I have had the absolute pleasure of being a preschool teacher in Northern Virginia and Washington DC. Kids have such a beautiful joy and curiosity they bring into the world that makes each day a little brighter. Being a teacher has helped me see and truly appreciate that in them, and because I have experience with teaching and caring for little ones, I know exactly what to do and say to document their beautiful personalities and keep them true to self once the camera comes out.
As a photographer for over 10 years, both as a professional and a hobbyist, I find I can help my clients have fun and feel relaxed while in a photo shoot with me, due to my extroverted personality and because I'm having a great time too! It is an honored to be trusted with documenting events and capturing moments that my clients will cherish forever.
In my free time, I'm frequently dancing, hanging out with my wonderful friends, meeting other young adults at local events, traveling with my husband Nick, or hanging at home with our cat Ximena.
